  • $65-$70k + Super
The Organisation
The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is a global not-for-profit organisation with approx. 3000 members in Australia.  The institute provides their members with standards, best practices, professional development and advocacy.

About the Role:
As the Education Training & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination, administration, and delivery of IIA-Australia’s suite of professional development and training activities. You will work with various internal and external stakeholders and volunteers to organise and coordinate a range of events including the setup up of webinars and IT.
The events range from both in-person and online events, including CPD Events, Webinars, Annual conferences, Member Engagement & Networking events.
IIA supports flexible working arrangements with the option to work two days from home and three days in the office.

About the Candidate:

You will be highly organised and love detail, you will have excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to think on your feet. You will be positive and proactive in your approach, have great attention to detail and enjoy learning. This role would suit someone who has worked in a role where you need to be highly organised and work with lots of stakeholders to deliver an excellent service. You may have previous experience in reception, administration, customer service, team coordination, training and education or events.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Organise, coordinate and execute all in-person and online events for the education team
  • Respond and process guest event registrations and inquiries via email and phone
  • Conduct venue research, collect and review quotes
  • Liaise with training facilitators, as well as attend events to introduce the course and follow up with attendance reporting and feedback
  • Update internal CRM system and website with upcoming courses, events and webinars
  • Assist member enquiries in relation to training courses, webinars and member meetings.
  • Managing and hosting Zoom/Teams training sessions and webinars
To be successful you will have:   
  • Experience within customer service, administration, or any other client-facing roles
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate confidently
  • Outstanding organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Be digitally savvy and have a general understanding of tech and webinars eg. MS Suite, CRM systems
  • Ability to respond to the needs of members with a customer-focused approach
  • Previous experience in training or events is highly desirable
