Department Summary
The Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences (ITDS) is comprised of two academic disciplines, Information Systems and Management Science. The ITDS department has 29 full-time research and teaching faculty whose mission is to conduct cutting edge research and prepare the next generation of information systems, management science, and business analytics professionals. Our department offers degrees at the bachelors, masters, and PhD levels. Five of our degrees are STEM-designated — BS and MS in Information Systems and BBA, MBA, and MS in Business Analytics. ITDS has a long track record of producing well-prepared, motivated, and successful business professionals and academicians. 
Position Summary
This faculty position is a full-time, endowed, tenured position at the Full Professor level. The enthusiastic and motivational scholar is expected to have an internationally recognized research record, to pursue continuing research and scholarship, and to provide expertise, innovation, and leadership to the Information Technology & Decision Sciences Department’s overall strategy, plans to achieve that strategy, and ultimately the ability to execute to these strategic goals and objectives. 

Basic job functions are (1) to teach undergraduate and/or graduate IS courses and develop such courses and/or curriculum, (2) to conduct and publish very high-quality research in IS or closely related fields independently and with faculty colleagues and/or doctoral students, (3) to advise, mentor, and recruit students, (4) to render service to the department, college, university, and profession commensurate with their rank and (5) to provide leadership in the development of the department’s undergraduate/graduate degree programs to advance their national recognition and reputation as well as work with our constituencies to promote the international brand and identity of our programs. 
Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Information Systems (IS) or a closely related field with an impressive research and publication record in artificial intelligence and/or cybersecurity, have experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate IS courses, particularly at the graduate and doctoral level, a proven ability to conduct world-class, impactful research and publish in top-quality (i.e., FT50, ABDC A*) academic journals, and an established track record of collaborating with and mentoring junior faculty and doctoral students. Degree must be awarded from an AASCB-accredited or similarly accredited institution. 
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent teaching and research productivity are key. Experience obtaining research grants and other funding is highly desirable. Also desirable is a proven ability to (1) advise, recruit, and mentor students, particularly at the graduate level, (2) demonstrated ability to chair dissertations and place doctoral students, (3) demonstrated leadership in mentoring and working collaboratively with faculty colleagues and doctoral students, (4) record of professional involvement with major professional organizations in the information systems discipline, and (5) work toward establishing partnerships with organizations that provide internships to our students, hire our graduates, and/or serve on our department’s Corporate Advisory Board.
